My Summer Intern
Meet my new summer intern (and niece), Amelia!
She’s super-friendly, loves to talk and most importantly knows her way around the computer.
But just between you and me… I don’t think it’s going to work out.
Her work is kind of sloppy.
She naps in the middle of the workday.
She climbs on EVERYTHING.
She cries when she doesn’t get her way.
And I’m pretty sure she’s watching the Wiggles on Youtube when she’s supposed to be working.
Sigh.
On the other hand, she’s happy to work for free as long as I keep her supplied with Cheerios and popsicles.
So I guess one summer isn’t that long.
What do you think? Will she make it through the summer? Will I?
P.S. She wanted me to tell you guys to check out all the fun giveaways we have going on right now.
I miss that age - now my daughter is just old enough to help a little bit and get frustrated when she can’t help more.
Oh how fun! Can you do an update now that summer is about half over? Share any other fun stories?
Adorable!

How is your intern working out? Sometimes they become so indispensable that they are permanently hired!
This was a cute post! I remember my boys at that age, so easy to entertain. She is super cute!
Oh my, she is such a sweetie, by the description of the job she is doing sounds like she is channeling my hubby..lol. If the intern job doesn’t work out I’ll take her, she is lovely..:)
Very sweet! We love the wiggles too!
Awww!! I love this! Way cuter than any of the interns at my job!
Absolutely one of the cutest posts I’ve read. Enjoy the summer.
I think she will make it through this summer and many more to come. Her work may not be the best…she may make more work for you actually… but I think in the end the joy and happiness she brings will be worth it. Congrats on the intern!
I bet she keeps you on your toes all day long…lol!
but hes such a cute little intern !
I had an intern almost just like that years ago…except she wasn’t a little one!
Awww she’s so adorable! I live two states away from my granddaughter and this makes me miss her so much!
