ABOUT CITIZEN NATIVE

Citizen Native is an online retail shop devoted to celebrating an American made lifestyle. Each item selected has a great story behind it and I enjoy the unique inspiration each designer brings. It is my goal to understand the origin of the materials used and to learn more about the process so I can in turn share these details with our audience.

Citizen Native’s sole purpose is to support American manufacturers, designers, and makers. It is all about quality over quantity. We need to seek out well-designed American made alternatives to our everyday purchases and invest back into our community. Our crew is from the great state of Maine, and being based in New England, it’s been exciting to meet local makers so close to home.

The design inspiration, one-of-a kind style, and handcrafted nature of each piece we carry falls into a category that we like to call ‘good goods’. We’ve made it a promise to find and present products that we’d only buy for ourselves or give to our loved ones.

Every dollar is a vote. What we choose to support says something about who we are and what we find important. Citizen Native supports sustainable, locally made products designed with purpose. By creating a place where you can find all of these attributes, the goal is that Citizen Native will become the go-to for unique, well-designed, American made products.
