Letter Exchange

Send me a letter (or card, postcard, etc.) and I will send you back a handwritten letter or card. Click pin or go here for details: http://www.ohmygoshbeck.com/2013/03/letter-exchange/ #11 on my list of 35 Things To Do Before Turning 35 is “Write a letter to a stranger.”

Originally, I’d planned on writing letters and hiding them around my city, but I decided that instead I would write to someone I’ve never met, but already like… a lot.

You.

Don’t you just love when you go to check your mail and find a letter just for you among all the junk mail and bills?

Here’s how it will work:

You send me a letter (or card, postcard, etc.) and I will send you a handwritten letter or card.

If you have kids, they are free to write me as well (as long as they have your permission).

Not sure what to write in your letter? You can write about anything you like - your family, hidden talent, your city, your favorite things, your pets, movies, TV, etc.

Feel free to include pictures, drawings or anything else you’d like.

I will also feature letters and the people who sent them on my blog as I get them (unless you ask me not to share in your letter).

Letters can be addressed to:

Becky Fuentes
PO Box 9022
Tacoma, WA 98490

Can’t wait to hear from you and write you back!

Does it just have to be us adults? My daughter has just discovered how much fun it is to write letters, and does need the extra practice with her writing. She’d be tickled a hundred shades of pink by this!

I love this idea and especially for blogggers! I also wouldn’t mind doing something similar with my 12 year old daughter who Home Schools…you have me thinking! Thanks!

Thanks for sharing this great idea. A few years back I did a send a wash cloth thingy however it was a great idea I never received any in return. I felt great that those 10 people got their washcloths that’s all that mattered.
