IHOP’s Trio Of Signature Pancakes Will Rock Your World

Growing up we always knew it was Saturday because that was when my mom would fire up the griddle and whip up a batch of pancakes.

These days, I still love pancakes, so when we were invited to try out the new trio of signature pancakes at IHOP, I was more than a little excited!

IHOP is famous for their pancakes and they have so many different pancake options that it’s hard to choose sometimes. Their new signature pancakes sounded absolutely mouth-watering.

Here’s a little more about the new signature pancakes (only available for a limited time!):

  • Red Velvet Pancakes: Rich chocolaty red velvet pancakes drizzled with cream cheese icing, a dusting of powdered sugar, and crowned with whipped topping.
  • Sweet Strawberry Pancakes: Our fluffy famous buttermilk pancakes topped with cool strawberries in a glaze, drizzled with cream cheese icing, and crowned with whipped topping.
  • Whole Wheat Pancakes with Banana: Lightly sweet, fluffy whole wheat pancakes topped with fresh sliced bananas.

We ended up ordering in since I was still recovering from a car accident and going out was difficult, but I noticed that even though we weren’t eating at the restaurant, the staff at IHOP was extremely pleasant and helpful - even over the phone!

When my family got back with all the IHOP meals, everyone was eager to find their order and dig in. Here are a couple pics of what we ended up ordering.

This is the breakfast platter. Someone was hungry and couldn’t wait until I’d snapped this picture to take a bite of the ham.

Check out this cheeseburger and perfectly seasoned fries!

I was too slow to snap pics of everyone’s meals before they’d been claimed, but you get the idea.

As for me, I went for the whole wheat pancakes with banana and they were delish! Seriously, IHOP pancakes are always fluffy and perfectly done and this was no exception. I’d never had bananas with pancakes, but the combination really worked. It added just the right amount of sweetness and I loved every bite.

If you and your family are planning are in the mood for pancakes (or just really great food), I highly recommend check out IHOP. Be sure to follow them on Facebook and Twitter to keep up with all the latest updates.

I received an IHOP gift card for review purposes. All opinions are my own.

The sweet strawberry pancakes are something I would get. The Red Velvet ones sound good also, but I’d feel like I was eating cake for breakfast. :)

I’m not a huge pancake fan but I’d like to think that if you put peanut butter chips in a pancake and drizzled it with chocolate sauce and whipped cream that it would taste REALLY good!!
