Oh My Gosh Beck!

Last fall I did a review for the Pur Minerals Beauty-to-Go Collection and talked about how much I loved using their mineral make-up. So when they contacted me again this year to find out if I’d be interested in reviewing some of their new products, it was a no-brainer.

This time Pur Minerals sent me the following products:

I was most excited to try the 4-in-1 Tinted Moisturizer because although I love the light feel of the mineral make-up, I wanted to have a little bit extra coverage and the Tinted Moisturizer was just right. I apply the tinted moisturizer first and then follow it with the mineral makeup foundation. I find that the combination of the two gives me a really smooth look and holds up all day.

The Pressed Mineral Blush was a nice surprise because I actually needed new blush and the Polynesian Pink was the perfect spring color. The first time I tried it, I ended up going a little heavy with it and the color seemed awfully bright to me, so it’s definitely a good idea to use just a little bit when using this. I sometimes even apply my powder blush first and then follow up with the makeup and I find that this gives me just a hint of color, which is the look I want.

The Plumping Lip Gloss was also an interesting product to try. I really loved the raspberry color, but when I applied it I thought it was a little too dark for what I usually wear. So I simply blotted so I was just left with more of a lip stain and then applied some clear lip balm over it and it was perfect.

I really can’t say enough about Pur Minerals. Every time they send me new products to try I end up falling in love with them. I don’t have a lot of time to spend on doing my make-up, so I love that their products, like the tinted moisturizer, act as several products in one. There’s no need to use primer, moisturizer, sunscreen, etc. because they’re all wrapped up in one easy-to-use product.
