I love a good deal and am especially loving Kroger’s “Deal Of The Day” savings event because so many of my favorite products are on sale!

Today’s is the last day of the Kroger’s Deal of the Day, but it’s also Oreo’s 100th birthday! And what better way to celebrate Oreo’s 100th birthday than with a coupon for $1.50 off?

At my house, we love Oreos. We use them in so many different ways - crushed up in cake frostings, as cupcake decorations, in cheesecakes and of course, the traditional way, eating them with a cold glass of milk.

Oreos are just one of those truly versatile cookies that can be anything you want it to be. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever met someone who didn’t like Oreos.

My absolute favorite way to eat Oreos though, is like this:

Serve a small bowl of french vanilla ice cream
Take 2-3 Oreo cookies and crumble them into smaller chunks.
Mix the cookies with the ice cream.
Top with chocolate sauce.

Seriously, this is so yummy.
