I am amazed that the average household spends $44 on Halloween candy! I think I spent about $6, but then again, I'm not expecting 100's of trick-or-treaters. Also would argue that dots are the worst Halloween candy lol.

That is a LOT of money spent on Halloween! Great holiday, just wow! I know *my* household falls well under the $44 amount… plus, I'm interested to see the breakdown of candy that is bought… I would think candy corn wouldn't be #1, but I guess it is traditional… but Reese's are so much more tasty!
Hahaha! Totally agree with the amount of money spent on the mystery taffy things! And I can't believe how much candy corn Americans go through! I mean, I eat a lot of that stuff every year, I love going to the store and discovering that it is that time of year again, but 20 MILLION pounds?! Wow!
