I am amazed that the average household spends $44 on Halloween candy! I think I spent about $6, but then again, I'm not expecting 100's of trick-or-treaters. Also would argue that dots are the worst Halloween candy lol. hoping to win the amazon gc! moonglasssoul(at)hotmail(dot)com
Greetings: Thanks, for posting the chart. Did not know that consumers ate so much candy. Yikes, but it will not be Halloween without some treats, eh. Happy Halloween, everyone. WTG on your facebook fan, #. entering the Amazon gc giveaway. very nice of you. cheers. dayleb at telus dot net
That is a LOT of money spent on Halloween! Great holiday, just wow! I know *my* household falls well under the $44 amount… plus, I'm interested to see the breakdown of candy that is bought… I would think candy corn wouldn't be #1, but I guess it is traditional… but Reese's are so much more tasty!
Hahaha! Totally agree with the amount of money spent on the mystery taffy things! And I can't believe how much candy corn Americans go through! I mean, I eat a lot of that stuff every year, I love going to the store and discovering that it is that time of year again, but 20 MILLION pounds?! Wow!
I would argue Double Bubble and Smarties are the worst lol - WHO eats those?!?!?! (And fingers crossed for the Amazon giveaway - [email protected] )
Smarties are pretty bad like megancrose said. (entering for the Amazon gift card) swade05(at)gmail(dot)com.
