Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40 Safety Event at Babies ‘R Us

Last weekend I was invited to take part in an event for Graco at my local Babies ‘R Us store. Graco was launching their new Graco SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40 exclusively at Babies ‘R Us and asked local bloggers to come and join in on the fun.

The Graco event was a blast and not only did we get a chance to learn all about the new Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40, but I also got the chance to meet other local bloggers!

My role at the event was to assist the hostess, Ruthy from Discovery Street, with the event and to take pictures and tweet during the event (two of my favorite things, by the way). We had two separate events – one at 1 pm and another at 2:30 pm. During each event, there was a demonstration of the Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40, a giveaway and a whole lot of networking.

The awesome staff at Babies ‘ R Us set us up right in front of the car seat section so we had the opportunity to talk to a lot of customers who were shopping for a carseat. In fact, Ruthy managed to sell a Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40 to an expectant mom who was shopping with her friend in between the 2 events!

During the Grace Safety Event, Ruthy demonstrated the Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40 and all the snazzy features. Everyone was impressed with the fact that with the Graco Click Connect you would only need to buy one carseat for your child until they turn 2 or reach 40 pounds!

The base also adjusts with 8 recline positions to make sure that your child is comfortable and has plenty of leg room.

The Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40 sells for $219.99 and is available online and at Babies ‘R Us, but we got to give away TWO of these carseats at the Graco Safety event!

Here’s Ruthy drawing the winning raffle ticket.

And here’s raffle winner #1 – Rosie from Tacoma Working Mom!

And Stephanie was our 2nd raffle winner!

The Graco SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40 – the first and only newborn to two-year infant car seat that actually grows with your baby from four pounds all the way up to 40 pounds. The car seat is designed for a parent on the go. The infant car seat can be easily removed from the base and used as a carrier when the infant is small, providing portability and convenience so you can easily move your infant in and out of the car without disturbing them.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recently made the recommendation to keep all children in rear-facing car seats until the age of 2. Graco set out to make this product so parents can keep infants rear facing longer while still keeping them comfortable.

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Graco. The opinions and text are all mine.
