I recently made the move to WordPress with Twenty70 Hosting and it has been the most blogging move I’ve ever made. Deciding to make the move wasn’t easy. I had only ever used Blogger and I was afraid that I would lose my page rank and Alexa rating. Luckily, I happened to stumble upon someone’s recommendation of Twenty70 Hosting and after reading up on it and seeing that it was only going to cost me $5 a month, I decided to go for it.

The transferring of my blog was all taken care of by Kelly from Twenty70 Hosting. I simply purchased the package, paid for my first month’s hosting and she took care of the rest. I was able to keep my domain name (and my Google PR and Alexa rank!) AND I was moved in less than 24 hours. Kelly answered every single one of WordPress questions thoroughly and ever-so-patiently.

With Twenty70 Hosting you can pay month-to-month or for a whole year in advance. I was so impressed with the service I received that I went ahead and moved my 2nd blog over to WordPress with Twenty70 Hosting and even purchased a package for the 3rd blog that I’m working on. Kelly has been AMAZING and I have already started telling all my friends still on Blogger about her.

If you have ever thought about making the move to WordPress or even just starting a new blog, my advice is do it sooner rather than later. And I highly recommend Twenty70 Hosting. Kelly definitely knows what she’s doing and gives nothing but the best customer service. I have heard horror stories of blogs being messed up in the move, losing comments, pictures, etc… but my move was completely problem-free and I know that it was because of Kelly’s expertise.

I’m not sure how much longer the i.am.blogger promotion will be available for, so you definitely want to hurry if you want to get it at this price — only $5/month! Be sure to tell her that Becky from Oh My Gosh Beck! sent you over.

  1. Just as a heads up everyone, Kelly is no longer with Twenty70. She left the company and the people that have taken over are…horrible. They made promises to help me set up another website in order to get me to add services, then never did a thing (but let me pay for hosting services without responding to multiple ticket requests). Then they kept charging me for hosting on a site I had suspended months before, and then froze my main website when I didn’t pay the invoice for the suspended one. The last straw was when I went to change over to another company, they locked me out of my account before I could transfer my domains. It has been a literal fight to get everything away from them. If you have your site with Twenty70, I highly advise you switch while you can!

  2. Thanks for telling us about this Becky! I used your referral ヅ

I was happy with Blogger until I found out today that my Google+ profile was disconnected: “Your profile is suspended pending review”. No rhyme or reason!

This is after having the same thing happen with my Google profile in the last few months.

    Enough is enough!

  3. I decided to go for this deal since I’m coming up on my 1st bloggiversary and have been wanting to get some self hosting. I made sure to let them know you referred me. I hope you get a little money out of this deal. 🙂

  4. Congratulations on moving to self-hosted WordPress! I did that late last June and it was a great move! Now if only I had known about Kelly it would have been quite a bit easier. He special is a great price!

    1. Thanks Wendy! I’m still learning my way around WordPress and playing around with different themes, but I’m so happy I made the move. And Kelly is amazing - so happy to have found her.
